Incheon City announced on the 2nd that A (48), residing in Michuhol-gu, tested positive for COVID-19 and was urgently transferred to Incheon Medical Center.
A showed symptoms of fever, muscle pain, and chills on the 29th of last month, underwent a specimen test at the Michuhol-gu screening clinic on the 1st, and was confirmed positive on the same day.
In the epidemiological investigation, it was found that A had no connection with the Coupang Bucheon logistics center or the Incheon Gaechok Church gatherings, where many COVID-19 cases occurred.
Health authorities have completed disinfection at A's residence and are focusing on tracing her movements.
A's mother, who was in contact with her, tested negative for COVID-19 and is currently in self-quarantine.
