Korea Tourism Organization Selects 6 'Hidden Tourist Spots' Including Daebudo Badahyanggi Arboretum
Hidden Summer Tourist Spot Recommended by Korea Tourism Organization: 'Metasequoia Road in Front of Cheonwoo Waterfall'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization recently announced on the 2nd the selection of '5 newly opened tourist sites' and '1 limited-time summer opening tourist site' as hidden tourist attractions.
The selected tourist sites are ▲ Badahyanggi Arboretum in Daebudo, Ansan-si, Gyeonggi ▲ Sangdomun Stone Wall Village in Sokcho-si, Gangwon ▲ Yedangho Night Music Fountain and Slow Lake Trail in Yesan-gun, Chungnam ▲ Chaegyesan Suspension Bridge and Gangcheonsan Danwol Night Walk in Sunchang-gun, Jeonbuk ▲ Treasure Island Observatory and Skywalk in Namhae-gun, Gyeongnam ▲ Taebaeksan Geumdaebong Course 'Garden of Heaven' in Taebaek-si, Gangwon.
The hidden tourist sites were carefully selected by a selection committee composed of experts in related fields from among 855 tourist sites recommended by the public online in April.
The Korea Tourism Organization advised, "Before visiting these areas, please check detailed information such as whether the tourist sites are open, opening hours, and viewing methods in advance," and urged, "Please be sure to check the safe travel guide by travel route according to 'social distancing in daily life' introduced on the Safe Travel page of the Korea Tourism Organization website before traveling."
