Gyeonggi Doshi Gong, Introduces Fair Bidding System
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation is introducing a 'Fair Bidding System' to establish a culture of fair bidding and encourage participating companies to strengthen their technical competitiveness.
The Fair Bidding System is a system that evaluates and certifies companies' efforts toward fair bidding by encouraging them to enhance their own ethical management and technological development, rather than engaging in sales activities solely to win public bids.
As the first phase of implementing the system, Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation plans to reflect the degree of fair bidding efforts in the evaluation of private business operator contests, design competition reviews, and technical service proposal assessments.
Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation will collect opinions from related industries on the purpose of the system introduction and the evaluation of fair bidding efforts through the corporation's website (www.gico.or.kr) until the 19th of this month.
