Wavve to Screen 98 Films Including Award Winners from Jeonju International Film Festival

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Online video service (OTT) Wave announced on the 2nd that 98 films, including award-winning works from each category of the 21st Jeonju International Film Festival, will be available for viewing at the 'Jeonju International Film Festival Online Theater' until the 6th.
This year, the Jeonju International Film Festival held its awards ceremony on the 1st and awarded the International Competition Grand Prize to director Gao Ming's "Wet Season." The Korean Competition Grand Prize, which awards the Wave Prize, was jointly awarded to director Kim Mijo's "Seagull" and director Shin Dongmin's "Wind, Please Clear the Fog." The Korean Short Film Competition Grand Prize went to director Han Byung-ah's "End of the Universe."
Lee Taehyun, CEO of Content Wave, held a meeting with Lee Jundong, Executive Chairman of the Jeonju International Film Festival, before the awards ceremony and agreed to cooperate on operating the festival's online theater, discovering outstanding films, and supporting distribution for the development of the domestic film industry.
