Seongnam City Conducts 'Statistical Survey' on 75,402 Businesses
[Asia Economy (Seongnam) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province will conduct a national statistical survey from the 4th to the 29th of this month to understand the employment structure of 75,402 businesses in the region.
This survey is a nationwide statistical survey conducted annually under the supervision of Statistics Korea and Seongnam City.
Businesses with one or more workers engaged in industrial activities in the Seongnam area are subject to the survey.
Seongnam City will send 128 surveyors to each business to investigate 11 items including type of business, establishment date, number of employees, and annual sales.
Mail surveys and distributed surveys will also be conducted upon request from respondents.

The results of this survey will be used as basic data for policy formulation and evaluation by national and local governments, business management planning, and academic research. The survey results will be announced in March next year.
