15 Passengers on Same Bus as Cheorwon Army Soldier Confirmed Positive During Leave Return Test Negative (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] All 15 soldiers who were on the same bus as a soldier from an army unit in Cheorwon, Gangwon Province, who tested positive for COVID-19 while returning from vacation, have tested 'negative.'
According to military authorities on the 30th, Soldier A, who was returning to the unit in Cheorwon, Gangwon Province by bus from Incheon on the 27th, showed fever symptoms at the unit's guard post and was confirmed positive for COVID-19 after testing.
The military authorities stated that all 15 soldiers who were on the same bus as the infected soldier tested negative. Additionally, 36 residents who had overlapping movement paths when the infected soldier briefly stopped at a restaurant also tested negative.
