Kia Motors "Pay Vehicle Repair Costs with Membership Points"
[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Kia Motors announced on the 28th that it will newly launch the 'K-Style Care+' program, which allows customers to use membership points to repair vehicle exterior damages.
This program is a new car care program designed to alleviate the anxiety of unexpected vehicle damage for new car buyers and can be subscribed to using Kia Red Members points earned when purchasing a new car.
In particular, the K-Style Care+ program is a renewal of the popular Red Members program K-Style Care, which was first introduced in 2018 and has been subscribed to by about 74,000 customers. It now offers a more reasonable structure through differentiated compensation areas by vehicle type and selective application by parts.
Specifically, when subscribing to the K-Style Care+ program, points are deducted according to the vehicle type: 48,000 points for compact cars, 68,000 points for small and compact cars, 98,000 points for mid-size, mid-large, and large cars, and 198,000 points for the flagship K9. Selected frequently occurring damage areas can be repaired once per area during the one-year coverage period: 2 areas for compact, small, and compact cars; 3 areas for mid-size, mid-large, and large cars; and 6 areas for the flagship K9.
The service coverage includes paint and dent repair for exterior scratches, replacement of side mirrors if broken, replacement of front and rear bumpers if damaged, tire and wheel coverage, windshield and tint coverage, and smart key coverage.
In case of vehicle exterior damage, customers can report by phone to the dedicated K-Style Care+ customer center and receive repair services covered by the program at 800 AUTO Q locations nationwide.
Subscription to the program is available only to individual and sole proprietor customers who have taken delivery of a Kia vehicle after May and have received a production certificate within 30 days. Subscriptions can be made using Red Members points through the Red Members and integrated customer service application KIA VIK.
