Seoul Reports at Least 23 COVID-19 Cases... Over 20 Cases for Two Consecutive Days
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] In Seoul, the number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) exceeded 20 for two consecutive days.
Seoul city announced on the 27th at 6 p.m. that the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Seoul reached 826. This is an increase of 19 cases compared to the count eight hours earlier.
Since the count as of 10 a.m. on the 27th included 20 cases from the previous day and 4 cases on the day, the number of newly confirmed patients on the 27th was identified as at least 23.
Thus, the number of newly confirmed cases in Seoul exceeded 20 for two consecutive days. This is the first time in nearly two months since March 28 and 29, when 22 cases were confirmed each day.

Among the cumulative 826 confirmed cases in Seoul, 129 were related to the Itaewon Club, the largest cluster infection in Seoul, 15 were related to the Coupang Bucheon logistics center, and 274 were infected through overseas contact.
