[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] Cases of COVID-19 infections linked to the pastor of Jusarang Church in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province are rapidly increasing.
On the afternoon of the 27th, health authorities confirmed a total of 13 cases related to the pastor, including 7 direct contacts and 6 secondary infections. It has not been confirmed whether the pastor was the initial patient, and although a connection among these individuals was established, the exact infection route remains unclear. However, local governments disclosed the movement paths of confirmed cases, identifying the pastor as a contact.
The pastor of Jusarang Church in Uijeongbu, Mr. A (52), tested positive for COVID-19 on the 24th. In the initial investigation, Mr. A stated that he had not held any worship services and had only briefly gone out for walks near his home without visiting other areas.
