Cultural Heritage Administration and Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation 'Discovering Intangible Cultural Heritage in Daily Life' Education Project
A space will be created to freely learn and experience intangible cultural heritage.
The Cultural Heritage Administration and the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation announced on the 27th that they will promote the 'Discovering Intangible Cultural Heritage in Daily Life' project utilizing local cultural institutions. This educational program helps the public understand and pass on intangible cultural heritage items that are designated only by category but are related to traditional knowledge or customs. Nine cultural institutions, including local cultural centers, regional cultural foundations, and city/province transmission education centers, will provide information and opportunities to experience seven intangible cultural heritage categories until November.
