Minsaeng Party: "Proportional Satellite Parties Are a Nationwide Fraud... Constitutional Court's Role Is Crucial"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] On the 27th, the Minsheng Party criticized, "The satellite party for proportional representation, the Future Korea Party, seems to be planning to merge with the United Future Party by the 29th, completing a grand political fraud against the public."
Lee Yeon-gi, spokesperson for the Minsheng Party, said in a statement that "At the time, the election law was revised through an agreement between ruling and opposition parties excluding the Liberty Korea Party, but the Democratic Party of Korea and the Korea Party created satellite parties, and the National Election Commission accepted their party registration applications on the grounds that they met formal requirements, ultimately leaving a shameful laughingstock in political history."
The spokesperson emphasized, "It is not over yet," and added, "The nation's deliberation on this incident, where corrupted politics treated voters like marbles in a pocket, is still ongoing."
