The meeting between Chairman Kim and Floor Leader Joo was held in recognition that the role of the 21st National Assembly is more important than ever to overcome the COVID-19 crisis, and to encourage active communication with the SME sector. The delegation from the Korea Federation of SMEs, including Chairman Kim and Executive Vice Chairman Seo Seung-won, visited.
Kim Gi-moon, Chairman of the Korea Federation of SMEs, stated, "The role of the National Assembly is more important than ever to overcome the COVID-19 crisis," and added, "When the 21st National Assembly convenes, the legislative priority should be given to the economy and the revival of small and medium-sized enterprises."

Chairman Kim also said, "As the COVID-19 situation prolongs, damage is expanding to manufacturing and export companies," and requested, "To alleviate the liquidity crisis and employment shock of SMEs, please actively support at the National Assembly level so that the limits of special guarantees and employment retention subsidies can be expanded."
