According to Honam University on the 26th, the Professors' Mutual Aid Association (President Kim Minhwan) recently canceled their regular meeting to comply with the government's social distancing guidelines amid COVID-19, and purchased 270 boxes of Nokdong anchovies (2kg each), worth 7.53 million KRW, through the Goheung County Fisheries Cooperative, distributing them to members.
Professor Kim Minhwan, president of the Professors' Mutual Aid Association, said, "We purchased local seafood to help fishermen and small business owners in the region who are struggling due to COVID-19, hoping to contribute even a little to revitalizing the local economy."
