Hyundai Department Store and Outlet Hold 'Grand Bazaar'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Hyundai Department Store will hold a large-scale bazaar at all its stores to revitalize domestic consumer sentiment. The purpose is to help partner companies struggling due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) to clear their inventory.
Hyundai Department Store announced on the 26th that from the 27th to the 31st, it will hold the "Hyundai Department Store Grand Bazaar" at all 15 department stores nationwide and 6 outlets.
A Hyundai Department Store official said, "As a result of holding meetings with department store partners, it was found that the inventory clearance rate of spring and summer new products from fashion and accessory brands dropped significantly compared to last year," adding, "We plan to contribute, even if slightly, to solving the inventory problems of partner companies through this event."
In particular, Hyundai Department Store added significance to the event by deciding to donate a portion of the event proceeds to improve the learning environment for children in vulnerable groups. Each Hyundai Department Store location will identify and deliver desired items such as learning equipment and hygiene products to local children's centers linked to each store to create an online learning environment.
About 180 brands including men's, women's, young, outdoor, sports, and accessories will participate in this event, offering off-season products at prices up to 70% lower than the original retail price by brand.
First, the Trade Center Store will hold the "Hansome Imported Brand Exhibition" featuring contemporary brands such as DKNY, Club Monaco, and CK Calvin Klein, as well as the "MU Sports Family Sale" on the 10th floor cultural hall during the event period.
