Sea Day... Public Shopping's 5-Hour 'Eorap Show Let's Buy Value' Special Exhibition
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Public Shopping announced on the 26th that it will hold a special program called 'EoRabShow (魚Love Show) Let's Value It,' selling domestic seafood for 5 hours on the 27th in anticipation of 'Sea Day.'
This special exhibition, hosted together with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives, will feature ▲domestic squid (starting at 10:30 AM) ▲Suhyup Yeonggwang Gulbi (1:40 PM and 10:45 PM) ▲Jeju Silver Hairtail (5:40 PM) ▲Haejomi Seaweed Noodles (7:40 PM).
Domestic squid is a popular product that has sold out consecutively in the last five broadcasts. Suhyup Yeonggwang Gulbi is a product managed through the seafood traceability system, with Suhyup handling everything from purchase to sales. Jeju Silver Hairtail is prepared for easy consumption and shipped directly from the local area. Haejomi Seaweed Noodles are low-calorie noodles made without flour or starch.
The special program will also air a consumer promotion station break featuring Minister Moon Sung-hyeok of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries. Chef Edward Kwon will appear on the broadcast to showcase various recipes using domestic seafood. To celebrate the special exhibition, benefits such as a 10% discount on automatic orders will be offered depending on the product.
A Public Shopping official said, "Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, seafood consumption has declined, and this special exhibition was planned to help address this."
