Kyungbok University Obtains Patent for Infant Elevator Simulation Safety Education Tool
[Asia Economy (Namyangju) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Kyungbok University has registered a patent for the 'Elevator Simulation Safety Education Tool for Early Childhood Education.'
The Department of Child Counseling and Care at Kyungbok University announced on the 25th that, following the 'Earthquake Evacuation Training Safety Tool' and 'Fire Safety Education Tool,' it recently registered a third patent for a simulation tool for early childhood life safety training that combines 3D printing technology, motor control signal electronic circuits, and surveillance camera technology.
This patented tool is evaluated as the first product in Korea to enhance creativity and cognitive abilities in young children.
Park Mi-kyung, head of the Department of Child Counseling and Care at Kyungbok University, stated, "We will actively strive for commercialization with educational tool companies through Capstone Design classes to create practical value from the registered intellectual property."
