Sahakyeongeum Selected as an Excellent Institution for Public Data Management
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] The Private School Teachers' Pension Service (Sahakyeongeum) announced on the 25th that it was selected as an excellent institution in the '2019 Public Data Provision Operation Status' evaluation conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety. Sahakyeongeum ranked among the top 22.2% of 234 public institutions in this evaluation.
The Public Data Provision Operation Status evaluation is a system that assesses five areas (18 indicators) including public data management system, openness, utilization, quality, and others of public institutions in accordance with Article 9 of the 'Act on the Provision and Use Activation of Public Data.'
This evaluation was first conducted in 2018 to understand the overall status of public data and improve policies to increase public satisfaction with data openness. Public institutions have been included in the evaluation target since 2019.
Sahakyeongeum's public data can be accessed through its website or the Public Data Portal. Additionally, if there is data desired beyond what is available, it can be provided after review through the public data provision application system.
