Pohang City Resumes Operation of Earthquake Trauma Center's 'Healing Dance' Program
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongwook Park] Pohang City, Gyeongsangbuk-do announced on the 24th that the body-based recovery program 'Healing Dance,' which had been suspended due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), resumed operation from the 22nd at the Earthquake Trauma Center.
This program helps express sensations felt through the body directly through dance, aiding in the healing of trauma caused by the earthquake as well as alleviating symptoms of citizens suffering from depressive feelings and psychological distress due to COVID-19.
The program is held every Friday for pre-registered participants. The center plans to operate the program while maintaining social distancing in daily life, utilizing outdoor attractions in Pohang such as Hwanho Park and Bukcheon Water in Buksong-ri.
