The selected 'Local Finance Forest' is a project implemented by the Korea Local Finance Association as part of its social contribution efforts to create a pleasant environment within urban areas.
This year, four institutions including Suncheon City, Boryeong City in Chungnam, Inje County in Gangwon Province, and Seo-gu in Incheon Metropolitan City were selected, with a project budget of 100 million KRW per site.
Suncheon City plans to create a 'Local Finance Forest' that harmonizes well with Wellbeing-ro, which is used by citizens, in line with the image of the ecological city Suncheon, by collecting opinions from nearby residents by October.
