Public Home Shopping Achieves Consecutive Certifications for Information Security Management System
Public Online Mall Demonstrates Reliability of IT and Security Systems
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Public Home Shopping announced on the 22nd that it has renewed and continuously obtained the Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification for operating its online shopping mall service.
The Information Security Management System certification is a system granted after reviewing whether the information security management system established and operated by a company to protect key information assets complies with certification standards, according to the Network Act.
The Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), a nationally accredited certification body designated by the Ministry of Science and ICT, audits 80 items related to information security. Renewal audits must be conducted after the three-year validity period expires. Public Home Shopping first obtained the ISMS certification in 2017 and has renewed it this time.
