Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education to Hold Opening Ceremony on 22nd After Remodeling Completion
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Busan Saha Library has completed its renovation and will resume normal operations on the 22nd.
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 21st that the remodeling and modernization of the municipal Saha Library have been completed, and an opening ceremony will be held on the 22nd.
The Saha Library, which opened 36 years ago, had an aging building and outdated facilities, causing inconvenience to users due to a lack of space for material utilization and rest areas, resulting in operational difficulties.
In March of last year, it received 1.28 billion KRW in support from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and with a total project cost of 3.8 billion KRW, underwent a full remodeling.
The first floor of the main building of Saha Library has been designed as a children's area, including a nursing room, infant room, and children's lecture room. The second floor is a space for youth and adults, featuring a digital zone, comic zone, and youth materials zone.
