2019 Long-term Care Institution Regular Evaluation Daycare Center Evaluation Results Top Grade A
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangdong-gu (Mayor Lee Jeong-hoon) Gangdong-gu Haegong Daycare Center received the highest A grade in the 2019 Long-term Care Institution Regular Evaluation conducted by the National Health Insurance Corporation.
This evaluation was conducted by the National Health Insurance Corporation targeting 5,974 home care long-term care institutions, assessing overall operation systems and services of day and night care facilities in categories such as ▲institution operation ▲environment and safety ▲protection of beneficiary rights ▲care provision process ▲care provision results.
Gangdong-gu Haegong Daycare Center achieved a high score of 96.18 points in the evaluation and received the highest A grade. Notably, it also received an A grade in the 2014 and 2016 evaluations, maintaining the top grade for three consecutive times over six years.
Center Director Ami Jeon said, “We are pleased that our efforts to provide systematic long-term care services with a consistent heart to the elderly using the center, and to offer customized care services through active consultations not only with the elderly but also with their caregivers, have borne good results.”
Gangdong-gu Mayor Jeong-hoon Lee stated, “As the elderly population increases, the importance of long-term care institutions is also growing,” and added, “The district will continue to support so that diverse and high-quality services can be provided for the happy later years of the elderly.”
