[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Dong-wook] Gyeongju City, Gyeongsangbuk-do announced on the 21st that it has completed the first payment decision for the special local employment response support job project for COVID-19, which accepted applications from April 9 to 29, and paid 500,000 KRW each to the recipients.
The support targets this time are unpaid leave workers, special-type workers, freelancers, etc. affected by COVID-19. In the first support, out of 2,190 applications, payment of 990 million KRW in national funds was decided for about 1,980 people, and the support funds were deposited into the recipients' accounts on the 20th.
The second project is accepting applications from the 18th until the 29th. Unpaid leave workers, special-type workers, freelancers, etc. who did not provide labor for more than 5 days during the period from the 1st to the 30th of last month can apply through the Gyeongju City website, eup/myeon/dong administrative welfare centers, registered mail, and other methods.
