Incheon City Bans Gatherings Around City Hall... "Preventing COVID-19 Spread"
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Incheon City has completely banned gatherings on city-owned land around the City Hall and City Council to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
On the 20th, the city announced the measure titled "Ban on Gatherings on City-Owned Sites Including Incheon City Hall to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19."
The prohibited gathering locations include the front entrance of the main building of Incheon City Hall, in front of the Civil Service Building, in front of the rear gate security office, in front of the IDC Center, the entrance of the City Council, and the entire lawn area of Incheon Ae(tt)deul.
The prohibited activities include events, assemblies, demonstrations, press conferences, and all forms of gatherings, and this applies from today until the COVID-19 infectious disease crisis alert level "Severe" is lifted.
The current Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Act stipulates that the mayor or governor may restrict or prohibit entertainment, assemblies, memorial services, and other gatherings of many people if necessary to prevent infectious diseases.
