KOMSCO announced on the 20th that from July this year to June next year, the issuance fees for mobile local love gift certificates will be lowered to the minimum level and applied.
The mobile local gift certificates are serviced through KOMSCO's blockchain public platform ‘Chak’. The service allows users to purchase mobile gift certificates via an app and use them at affiliated stores equipped with a QR kit on their smartphones.
For paper (physical) local gift certificates, KOMSCO plans to apply QR codes for guidance for the visually impaired and shorten the delivery period to enhance customer satisfaction.
Additionally, by introducing prepaid check card-type local gift certificates in the second half of this year, KOMSCO will establish a full-line up of local gift certificates including paper, mobile, and card types, and manage the purchase limits integrally through an integrated local gift certificate management service.
Furthermore, the QR kits installed at mobile local gift certificate affiliated stores will be provided free of charge for the first time only, and through industry-academia-government cooperation, support will be given to local governments for recruiting affiliated stores and installing QR kits.
