View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyun] Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do recently announced on the 20th that it conducted inspections on compliance with social distancing guidelines and hygiene conditions at restaurants and entertainment bars within the jurisdiction.
This inspection focused on daily quarantine measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and food poisoning, checking practical actions for improving a safe food culture.
Public officials and consumer food hygiene inspectors guided 623 general and rest restaurants and entertainment bars on quarantine guidelines and checked compliance with the Food Sanitation Act for visitors and workers.
They also attached food poisoning prevention stickers and social distancing posters, encouraging participation in hygiene rules such as hand washing, wearing masks, using personal containers, and serving food individually.
Additionally, for entertainment bars with a high risk of group infections, they recommended refraining from operation until the 7th of next month and plan to conduct joint inspections with the Jindo Police Station if necessary.
