GS Shop Sells 'InterContinental Hotel Package'... Purchase During Broadcast for a Chance to Win Benefits
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] GS Shop announced on the 20th that it will hold a 70-minute sales broadcast for the ‘InterContinental Seoul COEX Hotel Package’ starting at 6:20 PM on the 24th. For customers who find it difficult to watch the live broadcast, pre-orders are also available through the GS Shop mobile and internet mall.
This is the first time GS Shop is selling hotel accommodation package products through TV home shopping. In response to the recent increase in ‘Hokangs’ (a portmanteau of hotel and vacation) who want to enjoy a comfortable rest while minimizing contact with others due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has prepared a hotel package sales broadcast.
The InterContinental Seoul COEX Hotel package includes one night’s stay and breakfast. For a Superior Room, the price is 129,000 KRW for one night and breakfast for two on weekdays from Sunday to Thursday, and 169,000 KRW for one night and breakfast for two on weekends from Friday to Saturday. All prices include taxes and service charges.
Additionally, benefits include late checkout until 3 PM, a 35% discount at the hotel’s restaurant, and a 50,000 KRW discount voucher for additional stays. The package is available for use from the 25th of this month until August 31.
