S-OIL to Provide Fuel Gift Certificates to Youth Food Trucks
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] On the 20th, S-OIL held a 'Youth Food Truck Fuel Expense Delivery Ceremony' and donated 100 million KRW to the 'Together Working Foundation.'
Since 2018, S-OIL has created and implemented a social contribution program to support fuel expenses for food trucks, helping young entrepreneurs operate their businesses stably and contributing to resolving youth unemployment and creating jobs for young people through the activation of food trucks. Food trucks, combined with cultural performances, have been expanding their introduction not only in Seoul but also at local government festivals, gaining attention as a youth startup item since 2014.
S-OIL announced a fuel expense support program targeting food truck entrepreneurs nationwide under the age of 39, and after document and on-site evaluations, selected a total of 52 teams: 27 teams from the metropolitan area and 25 teams from local areas such as Busan, Daegu, and Gwangju. Each team receives a fuel gift certificate worth approximately 1.5 million KRW.
