KB Insurance Launches KB Direct Ultra-Short-Term 'One-Day Driver Insurance'
Car Accident Fine Coverage Up to 30 Million KRW
Available for Ultra-Short Term Enrollment from 1 to 7 Days
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] KB Insurance announced on the 20th that it has strengthened coverage for automobile accident fines following the implementation of the Min-sik Act and launched KB Direct's 'One-Day Driver Insurance (KB Smart Driver Insurance),' which can be subscribed on a daily basis as needed.
This product has increased the coverage limit for automobile accident fines from the previous 20 million KRW to a maximum of 30 million KRW. Additionally, driver insurance, which was previously available for a minimum subscription period of one year, can now be subscribed for a short term ranging from a minimum of one day to a maximum of seven days.
In particular, this insurance can be selectively subscribed only during the vehicle usage period by short-term vehicle renters such as rental car drivers and shared vehicle users, along with KB Direct's 'Mobile One-Day Car Insurance.'
Despite being a short-term insurance product, it offers the same coverage for driving-related injury accidents as long-term driver insurance policies of one year or more, including daily hospitalization allowance for injuries, fracture diagnosis fees, and plastic surgery treatment costs.
