Kumho Tire Launches New European Product 'Solus 4S HA32'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Kumho Tire announced on the 20th that it has launched the all-season tire "Solus 4S HA32" (hereinafter "Solus HA32"), a product exclusively for Europe. This product is an all-season tire specially designed to suit European climate and road conditions, characterized by stable and excellent driving performance not only on dry and wet roads but also on snowy roads.
The new product "Solus HA32" optimizes grip and drainage performance by applying advanced compound materials and a zigzag intersecting V-shaped pattern. As a result, braking performance has improved by more than 15% compared to existing products, and the wet road braking labeling grade also received an overall B grade according to European standards. In addition, through optimized pattern design such as 3D sipes, it delivers enhanced handling and braking performance to respond to any season, including rainy roads, snowy roads, and slushy roads where ice has slightly melted.
Before its release, this new product won the main prize in the transportation equipment category at Germany's Red Dot Design Award, one of the world's top three design awards, proving not only the product's functionality but also its design capabilities. On the sidewall, which can be called the flower of tire design, an all-season icon was applied so that consumers can easily recognize the product's characteristics, and Kumho Tire implemented a hologram technique, introduced for the first time domestically, to create a luxurious and sophisticated exterior design.

"Solus HA32" will be launched in the European market with a wide lineup of 42 sizes ranging from 14 inches to 18 inches, and in line with the increasing demand in the SUV market, it plans to expand to sports utility vehicle (SUV) products up to 20 inches within the year.
