Jeonnam Fire Department Supports Transporting High School Seniors with Suspected 'COVID-19' Symptoms to School
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Jeonnam Fire Department will focus on supporting the transportation of students showing suspected COVID-19 symptoms as high school seniors begin full-scale attendance starting from the 20th.
According to the Jeonnam Fire Department Headquarters (Chief Ma Jaeyoon) on the 19th, if a student reports suspected COVID-19 symptoms such as fever or sore throat to 119 within the school, a dedicated 119 ambulance team will be dispatched to transport the student to a screening clinic.
Additionally, depending on the diagnosis, they plan to actively support necessary measures including hospital transfer or return home.
Jeonnam Fire Department expects this to prevent the regional spread of COVID-19 and reduce the burden on parents or teachers who would otherwise have to take students directly to screening clinics.
