Korea Expressway Corporation to Early Launch Construction Service Project Worth 112.4 Billion KRW
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Jiwon] Korea Expressway Corporation announced on the 19th that it will expedite the issuance of construction project management service contracts for five sections originally scheduled for the second half of the year, considering the severe economic downturn caused by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). The total contract amount reaches 112.4 billion KRW.
According to the corporation, the expedited contracts include ▲ Sejong~Anseong (Sections 1-5 and Osong branch line·22.2 billion KRW) ▲ Sejong~Anseong (Sections 6-10·19.1 billion KRW) ▲ Gimpo~Paju (Sections 1-5·25.8 billion KRW) ▲ Yangpyeong~Icheon (Sections 1-4·29.7 billion KRW) ▲ Honam Line remodeling project (15.6 billion KRW), among others.
Submission of documents for bid participation will be accepted from the 3rd to the 23rd of next month. The successful bidder will be selected through a comprehensive evaluation bidding system. This system selects the bidder with the highest combined score of project execution capability and price points as the winner.
