SSG.com, 'Gentle Monster' Launches Store

SSG.com plans to continuously introduce brands and products that satisfy the millennial generation's demand for unique and distinctive individuality.
Gentle Monster, newly introduced this time, mainly sells sunglasses and eyeglasses with unique and sophisticated designs, and is especially supported by the 20s and 30s age group. Its popularity is already high among millennials, boosted by increasing cases of celebrities wearing the brand.
Through the official Gentle Monster store on SSG.com, about 300 products will be showcased. Customers can find popular items such as 'HER,' 'MYMA,' 'DREAMER 17,' 'SOLO,' and 'LANG.' This year’s new products include square frames, round frames, oversized, and regular sizes, allowing customers to choose designs that suit their preferences.
Gentle Monster has traditionally operated many offline stores such as department stores, duty-free shops, and flagship stores, but decided to enter SSG.com to expand consumer touchpoints amid the rapid growth of the online market. Notably, SSG.com’s operation of various sunglasses brands and the category’s annual sales growth of over 20% were also key factors.
In fact, SSG.com currently offers a wide range of sunglasses from international luxury brands like Gucci, Saint Laurent, Tom Ford, and Fendi to well-known brands such as Ray-Ban, Vedi Vero, and Karin. With the addition of Gentle Monster, the range of choices for customers has expanded even further.
Meanwhile, SSG.com is also running a promotional event to celebrate the opening of Gentle Monster. Until the 24th, customers who purchase Gentle Monster products will receive 10% of the purchase price back as 'S Money,' a credit that can be used like cash.
