View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] The Mokpo Maritime Police Station (Chief Jeong Young-jin) Jido Substation announced that on the 18th, starting from 9 a.m., they conducted a group blood donation event using the Korean Red Cross blood donation bus in front of the Jido 119 Safety Center, with participation from their staff.
To overcome the blood supply shortage crisis due to prolonged concerns over COVID-19, the Jido Substation (Chief Lim Ki-yong), Jido 119 Safety Center, volunteer fire brigade, Youngchang Heavy Industries employees, and about 95 local residents participated together in the blood donation.
Chief Lim Ki-yong of the substation said, “Upon hearing the news that blood supply is difficult due to COVID-19, we voluntarily participated with local organizations,” adding, “We will continue to actively participate in love blood donation activities with local residents to overcome national crisis situations.”
