[Announcement+] LIS Signs OLED Manufacturing Equipment Supply Contract Worth 48 Billion KRW with Chinese Company
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Laser application equipment specialist LIS is continuing its upward trend by successfully exporting organic light-emitting diode (OLED) equipment.
On the 15th, LIS announced through a public disclosure that it had signed a flexible OLED equipment supply contract worth 48 billion KRW with Chinese display company Chongqing BOE Display Technology Co., Ltd. The contract amount represents 33.05% of last year's sales, and the contract period is from the 15th of this month until April 7, 2021.

An LIS official stated, "The background of this large-scale order success is that we have steadily received equipment orders over the past several years and established a foothold in the Chinese market," adding, "This contract is significant as it shows that Chinese display companies are recovering from the impact of COVID-19 and equipment orders are starting again."
