On the 18th, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance announced that it has signed an industry-academia consignment education agreement with five cyber universities: Hanyang, Seoul, Kyung Hee, Korea Cyber, and Seoul Digital, to support the competency development of its executives and employees.

When Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance employees enroll in these universities, the application fee and admission fee are waived, and they can receive a 40-50% tuition discount depending on the university. Additionally, by enrolling in cyber universities, they can study online without time and space constraints while balancing work.
These five cyber universities plan to recruit new students 2 to 4 times a year starting from June 1 for the second semester of 2020. Candidates are selected based on academic readiness and study plans, and a degree can be obtained upon completion of more than 140 credits.
