Guro-gu Purchases 300,000 Flowerpots from Florists Struggling Due to COVID-19
30 Million Won Each for All Flower Gardens... Used for Air Purification and Environmental Improvement at District Offices and Community Centers
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Guro-gu (Mayor Lee Seong) purchased flowerpots to help local florists who are struggling due to COVID-19.
On the 18th, Guro-gu announced that it recently purchased flowerpots needed for managing the district office building to support florists facing difficulties as school graduation ceremonies, entrance ceremonies, and other events were canceled due to COVID-19.
Guro-gu bought flowerpots worth a total of 14.7 million KRW, allocating 300,000 KRW each from 49 florists operating within the district.
The flowerpots, containing Sansevieria, rubber trees, bamboo palms, anthuriums, Crusia, money plants, and Alocasia, will be placed in areas with many visitors inside the district office and community service centers to be used for air purification and environmental improvement.
