South Korea Provides 1.2 Billion KRW Worth of Diagnostic Kits to Iran Amid 120,000 COVID-19 Cases

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] The Korean Embassy in Iran announced that it has provided the Iranian government with COVID-19 testing diagnostic kits worth 1 million USD (approximately 1.23 billion KRW).
On the 17th (local time), the Korean Embassy donated these kits to the Pasteur Institute of Iran, a national medical and biological research institute, conveying Korea's humanitarian support and goodwill toward Iran.
Previously, on the 6th of last month, the Korean government had supported Iran with genetic testing (PCR) devices, disinfectant sprayers, and other equipment worth 200,000 USD (approximately 240 million KRW).
