The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "Due to the influence of a slowly eastward-moving low pressure system over the West Sea, the sky will be cloudy nationwide, and rain will begin in northern Gyeonggi in the morning and expand to most areas nationwide by the afternoon (12 PM)." They added, "The rain will gradually stop starting from the western regions such as Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Chungnam, and Jeolla-do."
