DGB Financial Announces 'IM C.E.O' Slogan... 9th Anniversary Ceremony Live-Streamed on YouTube
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] On the 15th, DGB Financial Group held a ceremony to commemorate the 9th anniversary of the group's founding at the DGB Financial Holding headquarters in Chilseong-dong, Daegu.
This year's ceremony was held with a minimal number of attendees due to the impact of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). Instead, DGB Financial live-streamed the entire process on YouTube, including awards for meritorious employees, the chairman's commemorative speech, and the announcement of the 2020 corporate culture slogan.
On this day, DGB Financial began the event with the "Thanks to Challenge," expressing gratitude to medical staff working hard to overcome COVID-19. Kim Tae-oh, Chairman of DGB Financial, conveyed a message to the medical staff fighting COVID-19 in sign language, which means gratitude and respect, and nominated Lee Jae-ha, Chairman of the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Kim In-nam, Chairman of the Daegu Employers Federation, as the next participants in the Thanks to Challenge.
Chairman Kim Tae-oh emphasized, "We must actively respond to the current difficult economic environment and changes in the era to secure the future. In the post-COVID-19 era, where uncertainty has increased, efforts for survival require thinking about everything from the customer's perspective," adding, "Let's actively respond to change and create a corporate culture based on a sense of ownership."
To this end, the corporate culture slogan for this year was announced as "IM C.E.O." DGB Financial explained that this means "Each person, with the mindset that I (IM) am the owner of DGB Financial in my position, challenges (Challenge) the difficult management environment, makes efforts (Effort) to do their best in their respective roles, and turns crises into opportunities (Opportunity)."
