Gwangju Seo-gu Launches Support for Out-of-School Youth
Agreement Signed Between Former Han Family Sharing Subcommittee and Community Security Council
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Seo Daeseok) has established a close cooperative system with the local sponsor group Hangajok Nanum Subcommittee and private youth specialized organizations, and has begun full-scale support for out-of-school youth.
Seo-gu announced on the 14th that on the 13th, it signed a public-private business agreement with the Hangajok Nanum Subcommittee (Chairman Hwang Eunam) and the Seo-gu Community Security Council (Private Chairman Jang Hyun) to promote an annual support project for out-of-school youth.
This year, the total scholarship fund donated for out-of-school youth amounted to 10 million KRW, raised through donations from the members of the Hangajok Nanum Subcommittee.
The funds are expected to be delivered to 20 out-of-school youth through the Seo-gu Community Security Council.
This scholarship will be used as academic encouragement funds for 20 out-of-school youth with strong academic and self-development will, covering tuition fees, career exploration development expenses, and more, contributing to the growth of youth as outstanding talents.
