[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Kim Samho) announced on the 14th that it is recruiting participating companies for the '2020 Small and Medium Enterprise Work Environment Improvement Project' until the 22nd.
This improvement project, aimed at improving working conditions, enhancing corporate productivity, and creating a business-friendly environment, is divided into three areas: work environment, labor environment, and work safety.
The work environment area involves the construction and repair of work environment facilities such as floors, ceilings, walls, LED lighting, and storage racks, which are the workspaces of companies.
The labor environment area supports the installation and repair of restrooms, cafeterias, dormitories, shower rooms, and lounges, while the work safety area supports local exhaust ventilation systems for dust and hazardous substance removal and floor construction.
Gwangsan-gu plans to finalize the supported companies through on-site inspections and reviews, providing up to 10 million KRW in support. Costs beyond the support amount must be borne by the companies themselves.
Companies wishing to participate can download the application form from the 'Notices/Announcements/Legislation' section on the Gwangsan-gu website and submit it to the Corporate Support Team of the Corporate Economy Division of Gwangsan-gu.
