6 Additional COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Seoul... 1 Death Reported

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] As the group infection originating from Itaewon clubs spreads, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Seoul area increased by 6 in one day.
As of 10 a.m. on the 14th, Seoul City announced that the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reached 714, an increase of 6 compared to the same time the previous day, and 7 compared to midnight the previous day.
Among these, 3 were classified as confirmed cases related to Itaewon clubs in Yongsan-gu, and there was 1 case each of contact with confirmed patients from other cities/provinces, overseas contact, and cases with infection routes not yet identified.
The number of confirmed cases related to Itaewon clubs within the Seoul area increased from 69 the previous day to 72 as of now.

Following the previous day, there was also 1 death reported. Accordingly, out of the total 714 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Seoul, 564 (79.9%) have been treated and discharged, 146 are currently in isolation, and the total number of deaths is 4.
