View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power announced on the 13th that it signed a 'Future Nuclear Power Specialist Training Support Project Business Agreement' with Kyung Hee University at Kyung Hee University's International Campus and delivered 2 billion KRW to foster talent.
With the donation provided through this agreement, Kyung Hee University plans to reinforce the Reactor Center facilities and supply the latest experimental equipment.
Last May, KHNP pledged cooperation with the nuclear academia and talent development through a nuclear specialist training agreement.
This project aims to create an educational environment that allows more students to participate in experiments and practical training using the country's only educational nuclear reactor.
Kyung Hee University plans to reinforce the Reactor Center facilities by 2023 and then open and operate the facilities for all nuclear engineering students nationwide and workers in the nuclear power industry.
