CU Launches 'Jeju Black Pork Bibimbap'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] CU launched its premium lunchbox "Jeju Black Pork Bibimbap" on the 13th.
Jeju black pork contains a high amount of unsaturated fatty acids that help purify the blood, as well as vitamin A and collagen that aid skin elasticity. The bibimbap includes Jeju-grade 1 black pork hind leg marinated in a special sauce and stir-fried as bulgogi. It also contains eight kinds of toppings such as seasoned chwinamul (aster scaber), stir-fried shiitake mushrooms, bracken, and stir-fried zucchini, which are seasonal vegetables.
Additionally, the portion size is 20% larger compared to regular lunchboxes, making it more generous. The price is 6,000 won.

To commemorate the product launch, CU is partnering with the delivery app Yogiyo to release the "CU Bibimbap One Meal Set" starting from the 15th. The "CU Bibimbap One Meal Set" consists of Jeju Black Pork Bibimbap, "Sokcho Red Crab Ramen (1,500 won)," and "Delape Organic Sikhye (1,200 won)." The price is 8,700 won.
