Gyeonggi Office of Education Rolls Up Sleeves to Support 'Hwahae Nongga' Affected by COVID-19
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education is launching a 'Flower Purchase Campaign' to support flower farms struggling due to COVID-19.
This campaign was prepared to help flower farms severely affected by the cancellation of various educational events such as graduation and entrance ceremonies due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, and to revitalize the stagnant local economy.
The campaign participants include the Suwon Headquarters Southern Office and Uijeongbu Northern Office, where fresh flower decorations or vases will be placed in public areas such as meeting rooms and cafeterias within the offices, as well as in each department's offices.
Additionally, flowers will be gifted to employees on their birthdays.
Flowers will be purchased from local flower gardens and displayed, with the campaign running from the 1st of this month until December 31.
