[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Bank (President Song Jong-wook) announced on the 10th that it held a donation ceremony for the 'Good Snacks for Children' support fund at the Gwangju Buk-gu Dandelion Community Child Center, attended by Song Jong-wook, President of Gwangju Bank, Kim Eun-young, Head of the Gwangju Regional Headquarters of the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, and Seo Kyung-hoon, Director of the Dandelion Community Child Center.
Due to the postponement of kindergarten and elementary, middle, and high school openings caused by COVID-19, Gwangju Bank carried out the 'Good Snacks for Children' event and delivered a snack support fund of 10 million won to community child centers providing emergency care for children at risk of care gaps.
The delivered support fund is scheduled to be distributed to a total of 50 community child centers, including the Dandelion Community Child Center and those recommended by the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation.
Gwangju Bank provided snacks and gifts to the children at the Dandelion Community Child Center, and notably, the prepared snacks were purchased from local restaurants near the center, thereby contributing to a good prepayment initiative to help small business owners and self-employed individuals struggling due to COVID-19.
