Relocation of Muju-gun Clean Water Office to New Building
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Go Dallyeong] Muju-gun announced on the 11th that it has relocated the Malgeunmul Waterworks Office, which was located inside the Arts and Sports Culture Center.
The building housing the Malgeunmul Waterworks Office has a total floor area of 339㎡, and inside, an Integrated Waterworks Operation Management Center has been established. A system is currently being developed that allows a comprehensive view of the water purification production and management status of the five purification plants within the jurisdiction.
Kim Gwangyoung, head of the Muju-gun Malgeunmul Waterworks Office, said, “With improved accessibility and convenience compared to before, many clients are pleased,” adding, “As we start anew in the new office building, we will do our best to enhance work efficiency.”
He also added, “In the short term, we plan to introduce a video meter reading system for water meters to increase trust in water bills, and in the long term, we intend to modernize by operating purification plants with an unmanned system.”
