On the morning of the 11th, Kim appeared on tbs radio and was asked about the Future Korea Party's movement not to merge with the United Future Party. He said, "During the general election, the public thought it was the United Future Party and voted for the Korea Party," adding, "But now, trying to play a different game is like cheating."
When asked whether the Korea Party's refusal to merge was due to government subsidies or the chairmanship of standing committees, he said, "They want to be greedy about everything." He added, "Because this is cheating on top of cheating, we have little reason to acknowledge it."
Regarding whether they might withhold the assignment of a standing committee chair during the committee allocation, he explained, "Not acknowledging them means exactly that," and added, "They will only receive criticism without any benefit."
When asked if he had any concerns about Joo Ho-young, the floor leader of the United Future Party, intending to launch a Kim Jong-in emergency committee system, he replied, "It's okay."
In response to the question about Kim Jong-in having served as an emergency committee chairman in the Democratic Party as well, he said, "Precisely because of that, Kim former chairman is well aware of the Democratic Party's sentiments and policy directions," and added, "If he becomes the leader, there are quite a few people within the party who can act as messengers. It seems possible to secure various communication channels."
Regarding the 'Working National Assembly Act,' which was a pledge during the floor leader election, he said, "The Legislative and Judiciary Committee's authority to revise the system and wording can sometimes be almost tyrannical," and added, "Since the review of system and wording is a practical matter, it can be handled by legal experts outside the National Assembly in each standing committee without major issues."
He also emphasized, "If members do not attend the National Assembly or disrupt it outside, penalties will be imposed," and added, "In foreign cases, there are countries that reduce salaries and even prohibit attendance at meetings if unauthorized absences are repeated."
