According to Chungbuk Province on the 10th, Soldier A (21), who was classified as a contact of a soldier confirmed positive for COVID-19 after visiting an Itaewon club in Seoul, tested 'positive' while living at the Goesan Army Cadet Military School.
Soldier A, classified as a contact of COVID-19 Army Case No. 40, visited the screening clinic at Goesan St. Mary's Hospital on the 9th with a fever (38.5°C) and underwent specimen collection.
On the same day at 10:30 PM, Soldier A was confirmed positive by diagnostic testing at the Provincial Institute of Health and Environment. Previously, Soldier A had tested 'negative' at the Armed Forces Capital Hospital on the 8th before being transferred to the Army Cadet Military School.
